The Jehovah's Witnesses teach that the Holy Spirit is God's motive Force. They say this is a
little like electricity, produced by someone (God) and able to act at a distance to accomplish
that person's will. What does the Bible say about the Holy Spirit? Does He have the
attributes of a being, or is it just a force? If the Holy Spirit is a person and not a "Force", then
He should have attributes like other persons. When Jesus spoke to His disciples, He said
that the Holy Spirit was a comforter of the same type as He, Jesus. He used the Greek word
